PURPOSE OF COUNTER OF PULSES
 Counter of pulses SIM-05-1 is used to count the number of products, length of dimensional material, sorting products, reference batches of products, the total number of products, etc. It provides straight, inverse or reverse count of pulses. Built-in timer allows you to use the device as a counter of operating time of equipment.
 
DESIGN OF COUNTER OF PULSES
 The couter is mounted on a smooth surface (SIM-05-1-17) or on a shield (SIM-05-1-09). A material of case - impact polystyrene. The front panel has four control buttons and a six-digit indicator. In the counter SIM-05-1-17 from below of case are located hermetic inputs for the output of wires that are connected to the equipment. For installation the device it is necessary to secure it with screws and bolts in the hole of the case. At the counter SIM-05-1-09 behind is located terminal blocks for wires, that connected to equipment. For installation the device it is necessary to cut out in the panel a window with dimensions 94*94mm, to place the device in the window, to install on the side surface of the device mounting brackets, that included in the delivery, and to attach by screws the device to the panel. As an extenal device can be used any (optical, inductive, capacitive contact) sensors, that having an output transistor NPN or PNP open collector keys, HTL-output and dry contact.
 
OPERATION OF COUNTER
 Operation is carried out in the operation mode or setting mode. When powering the counter is in operation and analyzes input signals, and count of pulses and control of built-in relays take place on the algorithm of count, set by the factory settings (see factory settings). All other parameters of the counter are determined by the user in the settings menu. Accessing the settings menu can be accessed after entering the PIN-code.
 
 WARNING: PIN-code is printed on the rear wall of counter's case.
 WARNING: The counter is designed for non-commerce accouting. Is possible to use for process control.

 Operation mode 01. The relay 1 turns on when it reaches the value (Threshold 1) for a predetermined hold time. Upon reaching the value (Threshold 2) the current value of counter is reset to zero and turns on the relay 2 to a predetermined hold time.

 Operation mode 02. Relay 1 turns on when the value of an account is equal to the value (Threshold 2) minus the value (pre-emption). Turning off the relay 1 occurs when the value (Threshold 2), at the same time the current value of counter is reset to zero and turns on the relay 2 for a predetermined holding time.
 WARNING: The maximum value of "pre-emption" is equal to the value "Threshold 2" minus one account.

 Operation mode 03. The relay 1 turns on when it reaches the value (Threshold 1) and turns off when it reaches the value of count that equal (Threshold 1) minus one. The relay  2 turns on when it reaches the value (Threshold 2) and turn off at value of count that equal  (Threshold 2) minus one.

 A counter sums pulses that reach the input Count1 and to the input Count2. At the command Reset a value of counter is reset to zero. In settings set parameters of pulse, at wich is produced an actuation of reading device (front or rear edge).

 Account of pulses occurs at the input Count1
 The pulse at the input Count2 sets the direction of account.
 The value of level of logical "0" in the point of settings menu sets the account at the sum. The value of the level of logical "1" sets the the account to subtraction. At the command Reset the value of counter is reset to zero. Setting input parameters is provided in the settings menu.

 Reversing account enables to sum and subtract pulses, that are received on inputs Count1 and Count2. An obligatory condition for the summation is to complete a full cycle of changes in the input signals:
1. Count1 the change input voltage from "logic0" to "logic1"
2. Count2 the change input voltage from "logic0" to "logic1"
3. Count1 the change input voltage from "logic1" to "logic0"
4. Count2 the change input voltage from "logic1" to "logic0"
 An obligatory condition for subtraction is the completion of a full cycle of changes in the input signals:
1. Count2 a drop input voltage from "logic0" to "logic1"
2. Count1 a drop input voltage from "logic0" to "logic1"
3. Count2 a drop input voltage from "logic1" to "logic0"
4. Count1 a drop input voltage from "logic1" to "logic0"
 At the command Reset a value of counter is rest to zero.
 It is used when dealing with incremental encoders.
