PURPOSE OF THE RELAY
Current control relay RKT-1 is designed for issuing a control signal when it detects the output current in single-phase networks above or below the set value. Current control relay is used to control overloading, consumption and remote diagnostic equipment (locking, decrease or increase current consumption).
DESIGN OF THE RELAY
Relay is produced in a plastic case with a unified front connection wires power and switched circuits. Mounting is carried out on a DIN rail width 35mm (GOST R IEC 60715-2003) or on a smooth surface. To set on a smooth surface, spring locks must be changed in recent holes, fixing a spring lock, which are located on the back side of the case. Terminal design provides robust clamp wires up to 2,5mm2. On the front panel there are: DIP-switch for selection of operating modes, rotary switch of threshold of the maximum current, the rotary switch of actuation delay settings t, yellow indicator of actuation built-in executive relay "
", green LED powering «U».

OPERATION OF THE RELAY
Current control relay has two modes of operation: mode of maximum current and mode of minimum current. Selecting the operating mode is carried by switch №1. If the switch №1 is set to position "In>" - mode of the maximum current (operation above the preset value), if in position "In<" - mode of minimum current (operation below the set value).
The relay has the function of the output inversion, which is determined by the position switch №4. When the switch №4 is set to "Off", the executive relay remains off until the controlled current value becomes higher than the set threshold. When the current value exceeds the preset value, the executive relay will turn on after the set delay counting time t, after the return value of the current in the set value, the relay will switch off without delay. If during the counting delay time t current value returns to the set point limits, work will continue without switching of the executive relay. When the switch №4 is set to position "ON" (the inversion - is on), the executive relay after the counting delay time t switches on and is in the switched on state until the current value becomes less than the set point, and after a set delay time "t" is switched off. When the current value is returning in the set limits the relay switches. Inversion of relay is supported for modes of the minimum and maximum current. The switch №3 determines the switching on delay "ton" 0,5s or 5s (to avoid the actuation from inrush currents). After power during this time measuring the current in a controlled chain does not occur, and the executive relay remains in the off mode. The switch №2 includes a "memory" function - memory status of error. If after the operating relay current value returns to the set limits, the relay returns to its original state, with the preset hysteresis (switch in position №2 "memory" - function "memory" is off). When switch №2 is set to position "memory", a reset in its original state will occur only after the removal and re-power-up or after a short transfer switch №2 to position "reset."
WARNING: Setting modes and operating time of the relay is carried out with disconnected supply voltage.
The setpoint is chosen by potentiometer in the range 10...100% of the maximum current value (discrete setting 10%). The maximum current value is determined by the type of relay and the circuit connection.
In the DC circuit the supply voltage on the relay is applied to terminals "+A1" and "A2". When measuring the current in the range up to 1A, the load is connected to the terminal "E2" of the DC circuit current, at measurement the current in range up to 5A - to terminal "E1". In the AC circuit supply voltage on the relay is applied to terminals «L1» and «L2». When measuring the current in the range up to 1A, the load is connected to terminals "L1" and "E2", when measuring current in the range up to 5A - to terminals «L1» and «E1». When power is applied to the relay, the green LED "U" turns on. When the executive relay is turned on, contacts 11-14 are closed and switched on yellow LED "
